A useful website should be usable by everyone.
Our approach to accessibility and how to request help with this website.
Last updated October 4, 2026.
Our goal
South Florida Sea Walls aims to make its information and inquiry process accessible to people with disabilities. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our improvement target. This statement is not a certification of full conformance. A comprehensive independent accessibility audit has not been completed.
Features available on this site
- A skip-to-content link, page headings, and named navigation regions help you move through pages.
- Keyboard focus indicators help show which link or control is selected.
- Form fields have text labels, required-field indications, and validation messages. You can review and edit your inquiry before sending it.
- The layout adapts to different screen sizes. Images that convey information have text descriptions.
- The site respects your device’s reduced-motion preference for scrolling and transitions.
Using the website
JavaScript is needed for the consultation form and cookie preference controls. Current browsers with JavaScript enabled provide the intended interactive experience. Compatibility across all browsers and assistive technologies has not been fully evaluated. Third-party websites linked from this site have their own accessibility practices.
Request help or report a barrier
Email info@sflseawalls.com with the subject “Website accessibility.” If a form is difficult to use, you can send your inquiry by email instead. You do not need to complete the form to request assistance.
Please describe the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and how you would prefer us to respond. If useful, include your browser or assistive technology. You do not need to disclose a disability, diagnosis, or medical information.
We will review reported barriers and work with you on a practical way to access the information or submit your request. Response times depend on the request; we do not offer immediate or emergency support. Information you send is handled as described in our privacy notice.
Ongoing improvements
Accessibility needs can change as content, browsers, and assistive technologies change. Feedback helps us identify problems and prioritize improvements. We will update this statement as our practices and evaluation coverage develop.
